Plants Vs Zombies Game Of The Year Edition Released

Valve and PopCap have announced a Game of the Year Edition of Plants Vs Zombies is now available on Steam for $9.99. One of the major additions is the inclusion of Steam Cloud support. What's also pretty cool, is that if you already purchase the title, you'll get this as a free update.

Also announced was the release of a Mac version of the game on Steam. Ron Powers, VP of product management at PopCap commented:

“Delivering Plants vs Zombies via Steam helped us reach a tremendous audience for the game."

“Adding Steam Cloud functionality to the game allows us to increase the value of the title to existing and new customers. In addition, with the title support Steam Play for cross platform play, it seemed the timing was perfect for adding Steam Cloud support.”
