Leading Games Magazines Don't Publish Half Year Figures

Although other significant companies in major sectors have reported their half year results to date, the two main publishers of games magazines in the UK, Future and Imagine, have decided not to disclose their figures for the last six months' results.

Future Publishing has withheld their mid-year results as a cost cutting measure whilst Imagine Publishing has not been forthcoming with their mid-year results despite being more forthcoming on the performance of certain titles in their portfolio.

Both companies do report full year figures for their publications every February so they haven't scrapped the process altogether. Print publications have had a tough battle since games news via the internet came to the forefront (as have fast Internet connections) but such is the competitive market of games journalism we have today.
