Microsoft has announced a serious step into the mobile gaming space, with iterations of their Halo and Crackdown series launching on Windows Phone 7. The excellently-named Matt Booty from Microsoft’s mobile gaming division commented:
"Windows Phone 7 is the launch of a major gaming platform for Microsoft. Just like we’ve done with Xbox 360, our charter is to push the envelope and deliver definitive games that maximise the platform. We will have an incredible line-up of MGS titles, and that’s just the beginning."Many popular series are making the jump from iPhone, including the likes of Flight Control, Assassin’s Creed, Earthworm Jim and Age of Zombies, for a total of 63 launch titles ready for the hardware launch this October.
