Sony has extended its logo licensing to allow manufacturers to include its logo on clothing, accessories and other non-gaming related products. The existing program also has 45 licenses with 123 items and with this extension, Sony hopes to increase numbers with new lifestyle branded items:
"With the help of third party companies, SCE will enrich the licensed product line-up and deliver various quality lifestyle products that will make the PlayStation brand more accessible than ever."What this means in simple terms is that you'll see a lot more merchandise using Sony's iconic logos such as the PS3, PSP, PSPgo, PS2 and PlayStation logos made by those who pay for it.
