According to Japanese business newspaper Nikkei, Sony is expected to post an operating profit of between 10-30 billion yen for the first quarter of their 2010 financial year. This is in contrast to the same period last year where Sony experienced an operating loss of 25.7 billion yen, mostly due to a decline in revenue from their games and Vaio brand divisions.
