Realtime Worlds Restructures Following APB Release

Ouch, Realtime Worlds has announced a restructuring at its studio following the release of All Points Bulletin (APB). A report on industry magazine Develop, states a small number of staff will be made redundant, and an as-yet unannounced project will be downscaled.

APB wasn't received massively well when it released, with game critics not really singing its praises which lead to studio head Dave Jones having to defend the title. CEO Gary Dale commented:
“We now have to focus our efforts and resources on running APB as a 24/7 online live operation, creating new content and services for the future and ensuring the best possible experience for the players."
At this time we don't know who was let go, but we'll try and find out. Jones also mentioned a console release of the game wasn't looking too hopeful...
