No Pay-To-Play Call Of Duty Model Planned

Joy to many Call of Duty fans as developers Infinity Ward and Treyarch have both debunked rumours of a subscription based model coming in to play future titles. Infinity Ward community manager Rob Bowling Tweeted:

“For the record, nobody has to pay to play COD or MW2 multiplayer, nor will they.”

Treyarch community boss, Josh Olin also Tweeted along the same lines:

“No, you will not have to ‘Pay to Play’ #CODBlackOps Multiplayer either. Rumor -> Squashed.”
