It should come as a surprise to no-one that rumours of a post-Halo: Reach instalment are already popping up.
An update on 343 Industries employee Paul Ehreth’s LinkedIn profile reveals he has been 'designing new levels and missions for the next Halo project'. Now, this could be something innocuous, like DLC for Reach or perhaps an XBLA extra, but seeing as more Halo is pretty much inevitable, it could very well be pre-production of the series’ next iteration.
This would mark the first Halo game to be developed without Bungie helming the series. 343 Industries act as a production team and would not be handling the development themselves, and it was rumoured some time ago that Gearbox were favoured to develop the next Halo instalment, but nothing regarding future Halos or potential developers have ever been confirmed.
