After about 3,000, you can’t really tell the difference because it fills up the screen anyway. Over 3,000, it ruins the experience. It’s not a game anymore."We definitely want this game. Shin Ohara, co-producer on upcoming sequel, Dead Rising 2 has commented that too many zombies on screen can ruin a game. Ohara stated the team tested the game's tech with around 7,000 zombies on screen at one time and felt it ruined the experience:
