Kojima Still Interested In Zone Of The Enders Sequel

Hideo Kojima has recently mentioned that he is still interested in making a Zone of the Enders 3 title and will look into this again when he and his team have completed developing Metal Gear: Rising. When asked about the possibility of the robot-heavy title he had this to say on the matter:

"This is not a rumor (laughs). My team and I want to develop a new ZOE But it turns out that Kojima Productions has limited resources in terms of teams and directors."

"So at this stage we have not yet had time to work on ZOE 3 which has been postponed at the calendar. However, I think after MGS Rising, I will look seriously [at] ZOE."

So, Zone of the Enders fans, keep your beacons lit for the possibility of a new ZOE game sometime in the future!
