Nothing like keeping it local. Dundee based studio, Proper Games will be developing premium downloadable content for Crackdown 2 post launch later this year. The game's main developer, Ruffian is also based in the Scottish city of Dundee. COO of Proper Games, Chris Wright commented:
“We are very excited and honoured to be working with Ruffian and Microsoft on Crackdown 2 PDLC."
Ruffian CEO, Gary Liddon commented:
“Proper Games have shown their ability to extend an existing franchise, we are excited to be working with these guys."
Paddy Sinclair, CEO of Proper Games added:
“There are good reasons why publishers turn to the Scottish games industry for projects like Crackdown 2 and we are very proud to be part of this great franchise."
No idea what the downloadable content will be, but Crackdown 2 is scheduled to release in the UK on July 9th with a demo coming next week on Monday.
