Paris Hosts Game AI Conference

The Game AI Conference 2010 will be held next week and Paris is the city of choice for this year’s show. Figures from the industry such as Mikko Mononen (lead for AI on PC game Crysis), Mikael Hedberg (of EA DICE), Claudio Pedica (of CCP) and the character animation consultant Ken Perlin are expected to attend.

Simon Barratt who works for Bradford-based developer Four Door Lemon said of the event:
"We’re very proud to be sponsoring such as a great conference with a specific focus on AI and game logic. Many of the techniques that are discussed are applicable across all games from indie to AAA and, as an indie developer, being at this event is very important to us."
