No RROD Lights On Xbox 360

Say goodbye to the Red Ring of Dead on Xbox 360 Slim consoles. Not that it can't happen, but rather Microsoft is so confident they've fixed the problem (solution being, not using shit components to cut costs) the slim console won't even include red lights. Gutsy, Microsoft Game Studios corporate VP Phil Spencer explained:
“Now obviously, the box has a way to communicate to you if something has happened but yes, three red lights are not part of our sequence of telling somebody something is wrong."

“Obviously if you look at the success rate of the original 360s, we’re very proud of both the way the company stepped up to support the customers that we had as well as the success rate we have with the box today. I think we’ve learned a lot. That learning has gone into the development of this new box.”
The alternative, an as yet unspecified message that notifies you when your box is bricked. Sounds kinda like building a car without seatbelts and when you crash through the windscreen someone tells you 'it wasn't a faulty seatbelt, but something did break - have a nice day'.
