Zynga, the social network game developer behind Farmville among others, has secured an investment of $147m/£98.8m from Japanese Telecommunications company SoftBank. The deal will take Zynga games to the a mobile based environment in Japan and will allow further expansion of the most successful social games developer.
This is the second move of SoftBank in the social games business as we say them invest $10m in developer RockYou.
