Itagaki To Reveal New Game At E3

The developer with the rock star persona Tomonobu Itagaki is due to unveil his upcoming title at this year’s E3 games trade event this week. He had commented in a recent Blog post that:

"This year, at the E3 show, we have decided to go public with the latest game we are working on right now at Valhalla Game Studios."

"Our motivation was always to come up with a project from scratch and to create something that all of you gamers can enjoy. It was for this simple goal that we decided to go independent."

"This announcement will be the fifth all-new project in my lifetime. I don't know if that number is large or small, but I know as a face that every one of these announcements was a presentation of a new gaming paradigm from me to all of you."

"This time, it is no different. Details will be coming soon, so please look forward to hearing from me."

It will be interesting to see what Itagaki and his team have to show at E3 but it is nice to have these surprise announcements leading up to the event rather than 6 months to a year of hype before seeing a game in motion. Let’s hope its as good as Ninja Gaiden, if not better than the quality of those games.
