3DS Not Recommended For Under 7s

Following the 3D imagery standard protocol, Nintendo will be recommending the 3DS for over 7 year old public only. Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime confirmed this:
"We will recommend that very young children not look at 3D images. That's because, [in] young children, the muscles for the eyes are not fully formed... This is the same messaging that the industry is putting out with 3D movies, so it is a standard protocol."
We can get two conclusions out of this one: that Nintendo is trying to regain the hardcore market and that the DSi will still be capital to Nintendo's plans. This won't necessarily affect sales as they did show that the console had a slider that could be turned off, but the question is if it will be parent lockable...
