THQ Starts Partners Program

THQ has decided to follow the success of EA's Partners program to attract new developers and publishers to their cause and launched their own THQ Partners program (original, huh?) and have appointed Tim Walsh, former executive VP of publisher relations at IGA Worldwide, to lead the new venture. Walsh stated on his contraction:
"I'm extremely pleased to join THQ and launch THQ Partners. I'm looking forward to working with a select number of world-class developers and publishers to distribute their great games through our global network."
The target will follow known premises, allowing smaller studios to benefit fully from the advantages of a big publisher behind them while remaining the IP rights for their own. Giving power to the developers is always a good sign...
