Tecmo Koei has recently reported that they have experienced a fall of 14% in revenues over the most recent financial year regardless of the two companies' merger taking place within this time. Games such as Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 didn't meet expected targets with the updated re-release only selling half a million and other upcoming releases delayed until this financial year.
It doesn't seem like many games companies have come out of the last financial year strong but as long as they are still going they surely can recoup some of their profits as all major countries recover from the worldwide recession.
