Konami Announces Major Improvements In PES 2011

Konami has announced that the 2011 version of their football sim Pro Evolution Soccer will be a rebirth of the franchise introducing new elements and features including the engine, controls, AI and all other areas were the game can be improved.

Once the top football sim and favourite of the fans, Konami grew complacent and over confident by releasing annual versions without any major changes in the game (the same thing that EA did with FIFA when it was top of the notch) and this year they were severely punished as they saw FIFA 10 clearly outsell PES 2010. Jon Murphy, European PES team leader for Konami Digital Entertainment, stated:
"It is time for PES to transform. The new title will be the most ambitious overhaul in the series' history. We've continued to work closely with the fans to pinpoint what it is about football that PES didn't do."
It was about damn time too! PES 2011 will release on all systems this Autumn.
