Following the announcement of the new 'Onslaught' downloadable content for Battlefield: Bad Company 2 on Xbox 360 and PS3, DICE associate producer Barrie Tingle has explained why it's something PC gamers won't be experiencing:
Tingle said the developer hadn't ruled it out completely and was exploring how it could be done. In the mean time, we might see different DLC for the PC version.
No doubt that's gonna start a flame war between console and PC gamers...
"The problem we have on PC, is that all our servers are dedicated with providers."As a result, Tingle explains that changing a 32-player Conquest server into a 4-player Onslaught server adds up to a net loss of 28 player slots.
