Capcom's Latest Year Profits Down By 73%

Capcom has experienced a sharp drop in profits in the recent financial year with a 73.1% drop and a net sales drop of 27.3%. The publisher stated:
“ We plan to develop new titles primarily in Japan. Overseas companies may be used mostly to develop titles for existing game series with well-established characters and universal themes."
Capcom also went on to emphasise the strong performance of Monster Hunter in Japan and both Resident Evil 5 and Street Fighter IV internationally.

Either way, hopefully Capcom wont be going out of business any time soon and they will rebound stronger and better this coming financial year. All the best Capcom!
