In a recent awards poll among users to decide which had been the best Arcade games in 2009 Trials HD emerged as the best game of 2009. Finnish Indie studio RedLynx was behind this title that surprised many with how a game can be challenging with a simple premise (it sold over 300,000 “copies”). Battlefield 1943 and Shadow Complex were the other 2 winners with 2 awards each. The whole awards list is:
