Silicon Knights Get $4m From Canadian Government

Ontario-based developer Silicon Knights has recently received $4m as a grant from the Canadian government for future game development and will allow them to create new job positions at the company. President of the developer, Denis Dyack, had this to say of the matter:
"This is going to benefit Silicon Knights in ways that are profound and long-lasting."

"We are blown away and we're happy with the support we're getting. It is something that couldn't have come at a better time."

"I expect to see Silicon Knights grow, I expect to see Ontario to be a really good place to be over the next five years and you're going to see a massive change."
Certainly any company with firm plans would appreciate such a cash injection but for anyone who played Eternal Darkness on the Gamecube you can see that if hey are able to replicate the quality of that game we can certainly look forward to whatever their next project will be.
