PS3 Stereoscopic Games Will Lose Quality

Sony has confirmed that games that will be adapted to be played in pseudo-3D will lose visuals compared to the original versions. SCEE 3D development manager Simon Benson commented:
"WipEout HD was originally 1080p at 60Hz: obviously a good foundation to start from. Making the 3D build of this we had to go for two 720p images.”
It will also cause a FPS drop from the original 60Hz to 30Hz...

The other adapted title that was due for a June release was MotorStorm: Pacific Rift and this will see its 720p at 30Hz configuration downgraded to under HD resolutions.

I don't know about you, but WipEout lives on its FPS, will you play it on 3D even if that means cutting the original's experience? I'll leave it there...
