iPad Sells 300,000 Units On Day One In US



According to Apple's reports, the iPad has sold 300,000 units on its first day of the US release, April 3rd. Apple CEO Steve Jobs commented:
"It feels great to have the iPad launched into the world - it's going to be a game changer. iPad users, on average, downloaded more than three apps and close to one book within hours of unpacking their new iPad."
Over that day, 1 million apps and 250,000 digital books were sold for the iPad. Unity technologies has prepared for launch an emulator to make all apps work on the iPad.

The iPad will arrive in UK by the end of the month.
