iPad Delayed For UK

Undeniably this device is trying to capture a good deal of the gaming market so we’ll trust at least a couple of you gamers are interested in what’s going on with it.

Anyway, Apple has made the decision to push the launch of its latest gadget back a month to the end of May. The delay is, according to Apple, down to unexpected levels of demand in the US where 500,000 of the iPads have been shifted already:
"Faced with this surprisingly strong US demand, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the international launch of iPad by one month, until the end of May. We will announce international pricing and begin taking online pre-orders on Monday, May 10th."
"We know that many international customers waiting to buy an iPad will be disappointed by this news, but we hope they will be pleased to learn the reason - the iPad is a runaway success in the US thus far."
Well, that’s success defined by monetary measures; doesn’t mean the iPad is anything special. No, we’re sure it’s great…
