Bungie has announced its expectations for the BETA of Halo: Reach and is expecting over 3 million users to participate around the world. A marketing boost is also en route to hype the release of the last(?) episode of the Halo series as Bungie have finally decided to work on a new IP for their next game (finally!) Community director Brian Jarrard and multiplayer design lead Chris Carney were interviewed by the Seattle Times about the upcoming BETA:
"My expectation is it could be upwards of 3 million people. I think that's a fairly conservative estimate. Certainly, there will never be a console beta of this magnitude."Also confirmed was that their will be no Natal support in the game (phew!) and that they are working on their next project:
"Our next game is definitely not Halo; it's something totally new.”Bungie have been working exclusively on the Halo series for more than 10 years, what can we expect from them next?
