After a few weeks of rumours Warner Interactive has came out and officially confirmed that FEAR 3 is in development and is due for release on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC this autumn.
John Carpenter and comic script writer Steve Niles are acting as consultants for the games development and the game itself is being developed by Day 1 Studios in collaboration with Monolith Studios. Warner Bros Interactive president Martin Tremblay stated:
