UK high street games retail specialist GAME has revealed they are in the process of reviewing staff hours for its GAME and Gamestation stores across the UK. A statement from the company read:
"We continually review the sales patterns across our entire store portfolio to make sure that we have the right number of people in place to serve customers throughout the day."This is probably unsettling news for the hard-working employees of both chains. Although it has been painted in the best light hopefully no-one loses out but with the closure of some of GAME’s stores to go ahead this appears to be quite unlikely. All the best to those affected.
"Today we have held meetings with the teams in our stores to discuss ways that each store can better serve the customers in their local area, including a review of staff rotas and shift patterns. We are very focused on supporting our teams, and thank them for their continued hard work and understanding."
