Only PS3 Sales Increased In February Say Analysts

Both Wedbush Morgan’s Michael Pachter and industry analyst EEDAR have predicted ahead of Thursday's NPD figures release that Sony's PS3 will be the only console to see an increase in sales year on year for the month of February. Here's the hardware sales estimates from the two analysts:
Wii - 455,000 (-40%) / 425,000 (-44%)
DS - 425,000 (-28%) / 401,000 (-32%)
PS3 - 300,000 (+9%) / 280,000 (+1%)
Xbox 360 - 350,000 (-10%) / 335,000 (-14%)
PSP - 95,000 (-52%) / 90,000 (-55%)
PS2 - 45,000 (-66%) / 50,000 (-62%)
Total - 1,670,000 (-29%) / 1,581,000 (-32%)
Pachter also commented that software sales would again be down in February but noted the industry would start to pick up from March onwards.
