Activision Blizzard's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is now the biggest selling game in the UK, surpassing Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas and positioning itself just behind Nintendo’s Dr Kawashima’s Brain Training.
This is according to data derived from sales monitor ELSPA gfk Chart-Track.
In January Modern Warfare 2 had sold over 14 million copies worldwide and achieved $1 billion (£665m) following its November 10, 2009 release.
This March 30th will see the game gets its first offer of downloadable content, titled the Stimulus Pack, which will give players 5 new multiplayer maps to destroy each other on at a cost of 1200 Microsoft Points (£10.20).
A lot of gamers are pretty unhappy at this steep price however, mainly given that 2 of the maps are revised levels from the original Call of Duty title.
Do you think £10.20 is too much for 3 new maps? (Sure you get 5 maps but only 3 have been made for this download content).
