Heavenly Sword Hasn't Sold Enough To Break Even

Oh dear, bit of a sad story, Ninja Theory's Tameem Antoniades has revealed that PS3 exclusive, Heavenly Sword has still not sold enough units for the cost of the title's development to break even:
“Heavenly Sword came out pretty early on the PS3, and we sold, I think, a million and a half copies, and that’s still not enough as an independent studio to break even.”
Antoniades went on to say how the lack of sales on a platform exclusive title contributed to the decision to make Enslaved, the studio's latest title, multiplatform:

“It’s just that when so many people have Xbox – I mean over half the market or more has Xbox 360s – why limit yourself to one platform?”
