Father Of Pac-Man To Open Festival Of Games This Year

The creator of the classic game Pac-Man, Toru Iwatani, is due to give the opening keynote speech at this year’s Festival of Games taking place in the Netherlands later this year.

Seth van der Meer, chairman of the Stichting Nederlandse Gamedagen which organizes the Festival has commented:
"Iwatani-san delivering the opening keynote continues a tradition that began with Ralph Baer’s speech on a previous Festival. Baer is the inventor of the game console. These industry legends show our devotion and dedication to this remarkable industry."
Certainly sounds interesting if you want to meet the creator of a not only a gaming classic but also taught kids everywhere to eat pills and gobble down ghosts.
