Baseball Player Ichiro Sessions Punch-Out

A slightly quirky post but over on Kotaku reports that in a recent interview held with Seattle Mariners’ batter Ichiro Suzuki (commonly known as Ichiro) he talked about his recent lack of sleep. Speaking to Japanese publication Nikkan Sports, Ichiro commented:

"I'm playing Punch-Out! I played it until midnight last night."

Although The Mariners are owned by Nintendo of America (who’d have thought it?) it seems to be purely coincidental as Punch-Out! Is hardly a new game and it is also nice to see highly-paid, professional sportsmen finding time to chill out and play a good, fun game once in a while. Makes me feel a little better about gaming anyway!
