President Jason West and studio head Vince Zampella were removed by security yesterday and were ejected from the premises. A Securities and Exchange Commission filing from Activision read:
"The company is concluding an internal human resources inquiry into breaches of contract and insubordination by two senior employees at Infinity Ward."There has been no clarification for the sacking of these individuals but what has been confirmed is that chief technology officer Steve Pearce and head of production Steve Arkrich will head the studio on temporarily. Activision CEO Mike Griffith:
"Infinity Ward remains central to Call of Duty’s future and we rely on the combined talent, expertise and leadership of the team there for its success."
