Sony has filed a patent for a touch-sensitive games controller that has been designed to work cross-platform.
What is known from the patent is that the controller will contain a touch-sensitive LCD screen on its front which will allow for customisation from players as they can shift the layout of buttons to best suit the game or even fashion a keyboard for the PC.
But get this, the patent also says that the device can be tailored to work with the Amiga, Jaguar and Sega consoles. Awesome.
