All Wallace And Gromit Episodes Available On Xbox Live In November

Cracking good news, lad! All Wallace & Gromit’s Grand Adventures episodes will be available on Xbox Live Arcade Wednesday, November 4th. The release coincides day and date with the 20th anniversary of the release of A Grand Day Out, Wallace & Gromit’s first animated short.

The episodes - Fright of the Bumblebees, The Last Resort, Muzzled! and The Bogey Man - take the unorthodox inventor and his canine companion through exciting interactive storylines - from a honey business plagued by giant bees, to a whodunit set at a beach resort in Wallace’s cellar, to a tale of triumph over an oily villain's greedy deceit, and concluding with a hardly sub-par finale at the prestigious Prickly Thicket country club.

Hugh Jackman On Top Of The List To Play Drake In Uncharted Movie

Speaking on the UK Official PlayStation Magazine Podcast, Nolan North who provides the voice for Nathan Drake in Uncharted has revealed Hugh Jackman is in the top spot for playing the lead role of Drake in the movie adaptation:
“I would love to do the movie, obviously I’d love to do it as Nathan Drake, but I’ve done film and television and I understand the reality of the business."

“Jackman is who I’d like to see. I think the producers would like to see Jackman too, because he has that tough guy exterior, but there’s also a lot going on behind his eyes. A lot of emotion and sensitivity on that brusque exterior, and he has great comic timing. He’s a phenomenal actor."

“I just hope I get a part on the movie so I can work with Hugh.”

There's a 12 minute walkthrough video at the source showing off the Realism Mode in Left 4 Dead 2 on the Hard Rain level. In the mode, you need to kill zombies with head shots, there's more witches and you'll need to get closer to items to pick them up.

The video also explains that while the mode is quite hardcore, it's not that bad for people who play together often. November 17th is when the game releases on Xbox 360 and PC.

Iwata Confident Wii Sales Will Pick Up Again

Nintendo’s Satoru Iwata remains positive despite the Wii's slowing sales and the company's first report of financial loss last month believing the recent hardware price drop for the Wii will reinvigorate sales:
“Wii has stalled. We were unable to continually release strong software, and let the nice mood cool. We were unable to show a new game to become ‘the next thing.’ In the game market, once you’ve lost the momentum, it takes time to recover."

“With the price drop, sales returned to a certain level, but they just did not reach the level of last year around this time. We decided that it would be difficult to sell enough to recover from the poor performance of the first half of the year."

“In order to reach it [20 million units], we’ll have to move quite a large quantity, but it’s a figure we released after having felt the momentum returning [based off the price drop].”

Xbox Live Manager Thinks Xbox 360 Has The Best Games Out There

Xbox 360 Arcade Console Xbox 360 Premium Console Xbox 360 Elite Console

Xbox Live general manager for Europe, Jerry Johnson has said the Xbox 360 has the best games available. Hardly surprising for a man in his position to say that, but he felt the need to apparently:
“I’ll come back and say that Xbox has the best games out there. It’s got the best first-person shooter games out there. The exclusives we’ve had over the past years and what we had going into this holiday prove the point that this is still very much at its heart a gaming console.
"There’s nothing we’re going to change with that. You will start to see us, though, do things that are broader marketing and start to expose some of the things that are broader than just first-person shooters.”
“There’s nothing we’re going to change that’s going to not focus on those customers more. In fact, not just this year but in the next year, we’ll continue to do features that are targeted at that hardcore gamer. At the same time we are going to start to do things that appeal to both the hardcore gamer and the broader user, and continue to do things and start to do more targeted at the broader user specifically.”
