Lesbian Gamers Banned From Xbox Live

Dutch gaming website NextGamer is reporting the case of two lesbians who've received a temporary suspension from Xbox Live for 'inappropriate content' in their profile. The user, ShayHolly wrote:

While many sites report the story as 'banned for being a lesbian' the actual reason behind the suspension was the use of the word 'lesbian' in the user's profile. Still, the problem for the use a word to define someone's sexuality needs addressing.
