UK newspaper The Guardian, has named Valve's Half-Life 2 as the game of the decade. While many of you may be screaming for Modern Warfare to claim the title, the title was actually awarded by a reader vote. The article comments on Half-Life 2's right to be champion:
“Half-Life 2 is the game of the decade, not just because it’s good, but because it encapsulates so much of what mainstream gaming has been trying to do for the last ten years; the aspiration to create believable, physically accurate worlds, then to make us a part of them.”Lots of other games are great, but Half-Life 2 is amazing, and it released years ago. Story, graphics, physics, all excellent stuff.
