US District Court judge Deborah K. Chasanow has ruled against Bethesda over a motion for an injunction against Interplay over licensing for the Fallout MMO currently in development, and the Fallout Trilogy containing Fallout, Fallout 2, and Fallout Tactics.
This means that Interplay will be able to continue selling the original Fallout titles and continue work on an upcoming Fallout MMO title codenamed Project V13.
Bethesda purchased the franchise from Interplay back in 2007 for $5.75 million and states consumers may be confused between original Fallout titles and Fallout 3. More info at the source.
