2K Games has revealed a new story-driven modern military shooter which is being developed by German studio Yager. It was the mystery 2K title that leaked back in November.
The story focuses on a Delta unit sent into a dystopic version of Dubai in an effort to track down a rogue American Officer. Supposedly the game will feature a “unique” single-player campaign as players are thrust to the “razors edge known only to men who deal with war” when death and duty are merged.
Both the president of 2K games and managing director of Yager promise an exceptional game of incredible immersion and experience. Spec Ops: The Line is scheduled for release on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC in 2K Games fiscal year which begins November 2010.
