PSP’s Used As Study Aides To The Royal Navy

The Royal Navy has begun handing out PSP’s to sea bound sailors in an effort to help them study for exams as a workaround for limited space on the ships and as a more innovative study practice.

These particular hand held consoles however have been fitted with special programmes with slides and commentaries allowing sailors to revise from the comfort of their bunks or wherever they like, thus also freeing space from teaching apparatus. Commander Trevor Price commented:
"We are working on the premise that looking at a book is now seen as dull and boring. When I was at school you sat at your desk and you did your work and that was it.”
The hope is that these handy little aides will provide a greater incentive to study and if proven successful, more will be distributed throughout the fleet.
