Modern Warfare 2 Has An Emotional Darkness

Hans Zimmer, world renowned music composer and the man behind the musical score on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has said the game has an 'emotional darkness' that goes beyond anything in other games:

“What makes it really interesting is that it has an emotional darkness to it where sometimes you go, I just can’t believe they are going to do this now and then they do it."

“It’s full of those sort of moments where it just takes things further than anyone would expect them to do. So I think it is less a geographic journey than an emotional one.”
