European PS3 Video On Demand Service Launches Today

Sony's European Video on Demand service kicks off today for PS3 users. It's the European version of North America's PS3 Movie Store which will be available in France, Germany, Spain and the UK, with “more than 2,000 movies” available for download.

There are both rentals from €1.99 and films to buy from €7.99 options, and films in both Standard and High Definition. Launch movies include:

• Crank 2
• The Dark Knight
• Dead Space

• Drag Me to Hell
