World Of Warcraft Rehab Clinic Opens In US

Well, it was only a matter of time before a rehab clinic opened in America for those who playing too much World of Warcraft, and if you've got $14,000 spare.

A new program called ReSTART has been launched in the US, offering a 45-day, $14,000 program that employs a “cold-turkey” approach to help people wean themselves from “pathological computer use,” which can include obsessive use of video games. Hilarie Cash, one of the centre's bosses commented:
“We’ve been doing this for years on an outpatient basis. Up until now, we had no place to send them.”

That treatment certainly comes with a price! How many do you think would reconsider that rehabilitation with that cost? I believe prevention is still the best cure for game addiction, and of course discipline. For responsible gamers out there, I've read this article about the WoW expansion, check this out: http://www.linkgeneral.com/articles.asp?articleid=56209
