CD Projekt has said a console for version for The Witcher 2 may well be on the cards, but nothing is certain at this time. Senior producer on the game, Tomasz Gop commented:

“Although PC is a certain choice we made regarding platforms for The Witcher 2, we also want to release the console version."
“However, please do not expect the game too soon."
