Sony's Yasuhide Kobayashi Warns Of Japanese Publisher Global Sales



Sony Japan Studios’ senior VP, Yasuhide Kobayashi, told attendees at DICE Asia last week that many Japanese companies struggle to make any significant revenue from outside of Japan, and revealed Koei only made 8% of its total revenue from outside the homeland. Kobayashi warned the Japanese market is shrinking too and publishers need global titles to survive.
