SCEA has announced since the launch of the new $299.99 price tag for the 120gb PS3 on September 1st, sales have increased by 300% with total revenue for PS3 hardware increasing by 140%. Sony plans to keep sales going with its campaign “It Only Does Everything” highlighting features aside from the games console image.
However, game demand is nothing to worry about according to an OTX industry survey in August that found four of the top ten games people wanted, were on PS3 including, God of War III, Final Fantasy XIII, Gran Turismo 5, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
