Gran Turismo 5's Damage Isn't So Realistic Says Need For Speed Developer

Hand bags at the ready, Need for Speed: Shift developer Slightly Mad studios has commented on the damage in Gran Turismo 5 not being quite so realistic. Andy Tudor from the studio commented:
“Actually, when the footage of Gran Turismo 5 came out of GamesCom with the doors flying off, we were all like ‘what the fuck? How are they able to do that?."

“But then we looked closer and saw that they had fitted a roll cage to the car, which is fine, but it’s not quite so realistic.”
It's on! Need for Speed: Shift is due for release on Xbox 360 and PS3 on September 18th. Gran Turismo 5 doesn't have a date yet, still.
