Sony To Focus More On Entertainment On PS3 Than Games

Sony’s VP of marketing Peter Dille, has confirmed the company's plans to promote the PS3 as more of a “total entertainment solution” focussing less on videogames and more on Blu-ray movies, downloadable features and entertainment:
“We have been a game company for years and we would never walk away from that, but research confirmed there is a larger proposition under our nose. We wanted to reposition as a total entertainment solution. We felt like we can really own entertainment.”
